Dr. Majid Ismayilzada graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2015 and completed his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine between 2016 and 2021.
His research earned him the First Place Prize in the Resident Research Competition in 2018 and the First Place Prize in the Expert Research Competition in 2022 from the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. Additionally, he won the 2024 Plastic Surgery Science and Art Award First Prize for his research on jaw reconstruction.
With the scholarship he won in 2024, he worked as a fellow with Dr. Moustapha Hamdi in the Plastic Surgery Department at the University of Brussels in Belgium, focusing on Breast Reconstruction and Aesthetics.
Between 2023 and 2025, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Istinye University Faculty of Medicine, and in 2025, he earned the title of Associate Professor. He has over 30 articles published in international journals, chapter authorships in international/national books, and over 60 presentations at scientific conferences.
He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in the Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering program at the Graduate School of Istinye University. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association, and the Reconstructive Microsurgery Association.
